How does the AI pricing work?

Cloud AI runs on a monthly allowance of credits. One credit is one card scan, pasted email signature, note turned into facts, or drafted follow-up. Asking your network a question or getting a pre-meeting brief costs 2; deep research costs 20. Free accounts get 10 credits a month, Pro gets 300, and Power gets 1,000. Everything that isn't cloud AI — contacts, notes, facts, follow-ups, keyword search, event grouping, on-device voice transcription, and export — is unlimited on every plan. Voice is the one to read twice: dictation is unmetered when it runs the speech model in your own browser, and costs a credit a clip when it runs on our server instead, which is what makes it work in browsers without WebGPU. An enterprise self-hosted deployment can run on your own API key or a local model instead.

What exactly do I get for free?

Unlimited contacts, notes, facts and follow-ups, the full CRM used manually, voice transcription in your own browser, keyword search and event grouping over your graph, and full export at any time — none of that is metered, on any plan (dictation that runs on our server rather than in your browser does cost a credit a clip). On top of it, 10 AI credits a month: about 10 business cards scanned, or 5 cards plus 5 notes turned into facts, or 5 questions asked of your network. Enough to judge whether the AI earns its keep on your own contacts. The browser extension is free too — it signs in with the session you're already logged into, no token needed — though it is not in the Chrome Web Store yet, so today you have to ask us for it. Pre-meeting briefs, enrichment, MCP clients, connecting a WhatsApp or Telegram chat, and the API tokens the mobile app and your scripts use stay on the paid plans.

What happens when I run out of credits?

Nothing breaks and nothing is billed. Contacts and notes still save, keyword search and event grouping still work, and export still works — those never used credits. The AI parts pause: a note is kept but not turned into facts until the reset, card scanning stops (you can still add the person by hand), and asking your network a question falls back to keyword matches instead of a reasoned answer. Credits reset on the 1st of each month. They don't roll over, and there is no overage charge — the allowance is a ceiling, not a meter.

How do monthly and yearly billing compare?

Choose monthly for flexibility: Pro is $4.99/month and Power is $8.99/month. Yearly billing saves 20% against the standing monthly price: Pro is $48/year ($4/month, saving $11.88) and Power is $89.99/year ($7.50/month, saving $17.89). Payments are taken in rupees through Razorpay today, so those dollar figures are an approximate conversion and checkout shows the ₹ amount.

Can we run Dhaga on our own infrastructure?

Self-hosted deployment is available for enterprise teams on request — get in touch and we'll scope it against your environment and data-residency requirements. A self-hosted instance can point at your own Anthropic API key or a local model, so inference is billed by your provider rather than by us. The hosted plans are the other path: managed sync, plus the enrichment and briefs we run for you.

What happens if Dhaga shuts down?

You lose nothing that matters. Your data exports as CSV, vCard, or a full JSON dump of the whole graph at any time — contacts, notes, facts and the relationships between them, in formats another tool can read. Deleting the account removes all of it, derived facts and embeddings included. We designed our own exit to be painless, and enterprise teams can arrange a self-hosted deployment so the stack sits on their own infrastructure.
